Aquapalooza 2018
July 21, 2018
Rent a watercraft for the Lake's largest family boating event will be held July 21st. The Lake of the Ozarks Marine Dealers invites all boaters to join them for a great day on the water. Live music and activities will keep you having fun all day long at the On the Water Party at Dog Days Restaurant at the 19mm, just west of the Grand Glaize Bridge.
30th Annual Lake of the Ozarks Shootout
August 18-26, 2018
The Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, held at Captain Ron's Bar & Grill at the 33MM-34.5MM, brings top powerboat racers and off shore racing power boats from across the country, topping 200 MPH. This is the largest unsanctioned boat race in the Midwest with over 100 racers and 100,000 spectators. Enjoy Shootout events happening all week throughout the Lake area leading up to the main event. Events include: R/C Mini Powerboats Shootout, Golf Tournament, Treasure Hunt, PWC Dam Run, Shootout Strip Street Party, Vendor Villages, Poker Runs, Live Entertainment and much more.
Labor Day Weekend
August 31 - September 3, 2018
Celebrate Labor Day weekend at the Lake of the Ozarks taking in the live music and fun night life! But before you hit up the waterfront bars, spend the day on the water soaking up some sun and making memories you'll be talking about for years to come. Take the family out on a pontoon or rent a few jet skis and race around the lake in style!
7th Annual Kids Fishing Derby
September 16, 2018
The 7th Annual Derby for kids 2 to 14 years of age will be held on September 16th at Captain Ron's in Sunrise Beach. There will be 4 fishing age groups. Bait will be provided and there will be fun and prizes for everyone. Please bring a lifejacket and rod and reel for your kids. A parent or guardian also must be with child. Registration and lunch on your own from Noon-1:00 pm at Captain Ron’s with Derby immediately following from 1-3 p.m. Call the Lake West Chamber at 573-374-5500 for more information.
LOMDA Fall In-Water Boat Show
September 21 - 23, 2018
Lake of the Ozarks Marine Dealers Association Fall In-water Boat Show and Clearance Sale. This event is being hosted by Captain Ron's. There will be over 100 boats including new cruisers, performance boats, runabouts, personal watercraft and a good selection of quality pre-owned boats. And of course, we'll have rentals available, so when you get done at the boat show, you can get out on the water to enjoy some REAL In-Water fun!
